'Stealing Rembrandts' Author Signing

On Wednesday May 2nd the Plymouth Public Library will host a reading and book signing by author Anthony Amore, Isabella Stewart Gardner’s current security director. The program will be held in the Otto Fehlow Meeting Room from 7:00 – 8:30 PM.

Anthony M. Amore is the security director at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Described in the book Art & Crime as β€œamong the most innovative and effective museum security directors in the world,” he heads the museum’s investigation into the famous 1990 theft of 13 artworks. He is a lecturer on art crime throughout the world and published his first book entitled, Stealing Rembrandts, in July 2011. This lecture will address other Massachusetts art thefts as a backdrop to the Rembrandts infamous story. Check out his website at
