The Phil presents 'Power and Glory' Featuring the High School Choral Consortium

Over 300 performers will create a sonic experience not to be missed at the next concert of the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra. Steven Karidoyanes conducts "Power & Glory," featuring this year's High School Choral Consortium, an amazing assembly of select singers from these high school choral programs: Β 

  • Duxbury High SchoolΒ 
  • Marshfield High SchoolΒ 
  • Pembroke High School
  • Plymouth High Schools
  • Scituate High School
  • Silver Lake Regional High School

They, along with acclaimed South Shore soprano Meredith Hansen, join the Phil in the astounding Gloria by Francis Poulenc, music premiered by the Boston Symphony in 1961. The program also includes the powerful and upbeat Second Symphony by Johannes Brahms.

This much-anticipated concert begins at 8 p.m. Acpre-concert talk by Conductor Karidoyanes begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are now on sale.
