Time After Time: Classic Jazz for a Summer Evening

Pilgrim Festival Chorus (PFC), the region’s principal community choral group, will present “Time After Time:  Classic Jazz for a Summer Evening” Saturday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. at  The Loring Center, 384 Court Street, Plymouth and Saturday, July 23 at The Stonebridge Club in The Pinehills, Plymouth. The concert will feature select soloists and choral ensemble in a “jazz standards and swing tunes" revue evening of musical performances directed by PFC Music Director, William B. Richter, and accompanied by pianist Elizabeth Chapman Reilly.

The annual summer “cabaret” style production features a variety of numbers, including popular standards by composers Hoagy Carmichael, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern and arranger Kirby Shaw, plus many more. Select PFC members will be featured soloists in the event, representing a broad spectrum of the “Great American Songbook” theme.

Tickets for the performances are priced at $15.00 and are first come, first serve by reservation or purchase.
