What if something unexpected were to happen to you? Would anyone know about your ‘stuff’… your finances, documents, final wishes, your legacy? Are your financial and estate matters organized and accessible to those you will leave behind?
Give your loved ones the gift of preparedness. Plan now to attend the What If…Preparing for the Future workshop at the Plymouth Public Library, 132 South St., Plymouth. Presented by Gwen Morgan, author of the What If…Workbook, this program will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 11, in the Library’s Otto Fehlow Meeting Room.
The What If …Workbook is a tool for end of life planning that helps the user keep track of important financial and estate matters, as well as final arrangements and special gifts to loved ones. Copies of the What If…Workbook will be available for purchase as a book ($20) or a CD ($15) at the program. Also, as part of the program, a representative of South Shore Hospital will discuss the importance of designating a Health Care Proxy Agent before there is a need, and actual health care proxies will be available for completion.
The What If...Preparing for the Future workshop is free but registration is required; to sign up, visit the Library’s website (www.plymouthpubliclibrary.org) and click on the ‘Register’ button found under Calendar of Events for Sept. 11. You may also register by calling 508-830-4250, ext. 219 or by sending an email to slarosa@ocln.org
