Woodworking Lecture at Plimoth Plantation

Museum woodworking artisan Peter Follansbee presents "Made By Hand; Tools and Techniques of the Modern Craftsman." The lecture will begin promptly at noon. A brief Q& A will follow. Participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch. To reserve a seat, click here.

About our speaker: Peter Follansbee first began making furniture with period-style hand tools in 1980. A longtime member of Plimoth Plantation's staff of talented artisans, Peter can be found most days exhibiting 17th- Century woodworking techniques in the Museum Craft Center. Examples of Peter's work can be found at Plimoth Plantation, the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston) and in private collections. He has been featured in several magazines such as Woodwork, American Furniture, Antiques and Fine Art Magazine, and on PBS.
