Five Questions for...The Pinehills Art on the Green
The Pinehills hosts its seventh annual free Art on the Green Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Village Green.

1. The Pinehills has held an art festival for six years, what's going to be special about number seven?
What’s special about the seventh annual is that we’ve added a new tent to the Village Green which has allowed us to invite more artists to display in our show. Now there are even more options to shop and browse. Guests can enjoy lunch at inside or outdoors on their patio,or stop by The Market Hot Dog Cart, plus there will be two gourmet food trucks on-site to add to the variety of food for purchase. Grilled Cheese Nation and The FroYo Truck will be on the Village Green along with Pinehills Village Greent shops - Long Ridge Wine & Spirits.
2. How was the Home for Little Wanderers chosen as the charity?
We work with , Southeast Campus because it’s important that we give back to local charities that benefit our region. The Pinehills’ events are an attraction for families with young children so this partnership felt like a perfect match. Kids will have the opportunity to donate to The Home for Little Wanderers while making a gift for Dad in honor of Father’s Day. Visit the Kids Corner to “Make a Tie for Dad” for $5. All proceeds will be donated to The Home and Dad will get a great gift out of it.

4. What is the average cost for artwork and artisans work?
The average price varies for each category. We have paintings, pottery, photography, jewelry, clothing and accessories as well as glass and wood workings. Everything you will see at Art on the Green is handmade by the artists and therefore you will find one of a kind products. The artists price their products very reasonably – some as low as $2.
5. What's the best part of the Art on the Green?
The best part of Art on the Green is everything! Admission to the event is free and open to the public so even if you’re not planning to purchase anything – you can still enjoy a fun-filled day with the family for little to no cost. The Pinehills chooses its artists very carefully so that there is a great variety of what one can shop and browse. Complete with fabulous food choices, steel band music by Magic of Steel and a Kids Corner where kids can get their face painted for free and make a tie for Dad for a donation to Home for Little Wanderers – this day is really for everyone and every age.
