Ground Zero Beam is on the Way to Plymouth

Selectman Dicky Quintal sent pictures at 10 p.m. of the World Trade Center beam strapped to Almieda's red, white and blue flatbed.

Selectman Dicky Quintal and Deputy Fire Chief Michael Young got to New York Wednesday night to pick up the steel beam from Ground Zero. This morning they're taking it home to Plymouth.

While Quintal and Young have been working on this project for months, if not years, it's fitting that they're picking it up now, less than a week after the man behind the Sept. 11 attacks was killed by U.S. Navy Seals.
