Hair Cuttery Holds Fundraiser for Heidrea for Heroes
To celebrate its grand opening, Hair Cuttery will donate five percent of all proceeds from June 4th – July 1st.

As part of Hair Cuttery’s grand opening festivities the salon will hold a month-long fundraiser to benefit the Plymouth non-profit, Heidrea for Heroes. From June 4th to July 1st, Hair Cuttery will donate five percent of all proceeds to the charity. The new salon is located at 113 Samoset Street in the Myles Standish Plaza.
Heidrea for Heroes is a non-profit organization that provides important support services to our military men and women upon their return to civilian life. Founded by Marine Corps veterans and small business partners, Jesse Brown and Matthew Mastroianni, Heidrea for Heroes’ mission is to help veterans by providing adaptive housing renovations, vehicle modifications, specialized mobility equipment, veteran/family support and workforce readiness and training opportunities that will inspire and motivate veterans and families to move forward.

“We are a family-owned business and feel it’s important to serve as a community partner and support local charities and causes that impact our neighbors,” said Dennis Ratner, founder and CEO of Hair Cuttery. “We look forward to raising funds for Heidrea for Heroes and continuing our efforts to be an active participant in the Plymouth community,” said Ratner.

Hair Cuttery has an established legacy of charitable support. For the past 17 years, it has sponsored Share a Haircut, a national charitable campaign aimed at giving free back-to-school haircuts to children in need as well as haircuts for the homeless, victims of domestic violence, and veterans. Through partnerships with local social service agencies, Hair Cuttery has donated more than 125,000 haircuts in the last year and more than 950,000 haircuts since the program’s inception in 1999. Hair Cuttery salons also support local charities and community causes through cut-a-thons and donations.
