Due to Internet issues at the Main Library on January 13, we have rescheduled this program for JANUARY 27th at 7:00 pm. Tune in then for our 50th Anniversary Masterpiece Theatre program, with your host, Tom Cummiskey. We look forward to a virtual celebration and discussion reliving the early series such as Upstairs, Downstairs, Tom Brownβs School Days, Poldark (original and recent), The Flame Trees of Thika, The Jewel in the Crown, Jeeves and Wooster, Prime Suspect, Wives and Daughters, The Forsyte Saga, along with recent favorites such as Cranford, Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Victoria, and so many more!
Raise a glass of sparkling cider and toast to 50 years of excellence in viewing with so many of these stories adapted to the screen from their original novel format. Compare the series to the book, share your favorites, and also memories of when you first watched with wonder, the magic of Masterpiece!!
