MIDDLEBORO, MA — A Barnstable heroin trafficker was recently arrested in a bust of Interstate 495, state police said. Ronald Kenworthy, 37, of Hyannis, was charged with two counts of trafficking heroin after police said a state trooper pulled over Kenworthy's vehicle for speeding on the highway in Middleboro on Thursday.
"The driver’s subsequent actions caused for further investigation," police said in a statement. "State Trooper Jason Trout discovered approximately 101 grams of heroin and over 90 oxycodone pills (in the vehicle)."
Kenworthy was driving a dark-colored sport utility vehicle, police said. He was also charged with speeding and a lane violation.
