1,500 Lose Power in Plymouth
Hundreds lost power in Plymouth Friday as a snowstorm caused outages across the state.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Close to 1,500 Plymouth residents and businesses lost power Friday afternoon as a round of heavy, wet snow continued to knock out power across the state.

Friday at about 2:45 p.m., there were 1,471 Plymouth customers without power, according to Eversource’s outage map.

The outages happened as a snowstorm dropped about a half-foot of snow on the region. The snow will continue Friday until about 8 p.m. and will create dangerous condition during the evening commute.
Saturday and Sunday are expected to be clear.
