"If Music Be Love, Sing On" Summer Cabaret

South
Shore Conservatory and Plimoth Plantation proudly present If Music Be Love,
Sing On, in the Amelia Peabody Picnic Pavilion at Plimoth Plantation, on

Friday, June 13, at 7 pm. The concert is generously sponsored by the Foundation
for Creative Achievement.

If Music Be Love, Sing On is a midsummer cabaret that blends the best of

American songwriting with the crackling wit and passionate verse of

Shakespeare’s romances. The cabaret celebrates romance in all its aspects --

from youth’s fevered springtime yearning, to the pangs of a broken heart and

finally the reassuring touch of lifelong love when winter comes. The cabaret

features twelve American love songs, both standards and little known gems, that
tell an original love story inspired by Shakespeare’s plays and poems, and

performed by South Shore Conservatory faculty and students and Plimoth

Plantation actors.  The Amelia Peabody Pavilion, overlooking the beautiful

Eel River, is the an idyllic place to hear the concert unfold.  If Music

Be Love, Sing On is the perfect way to spend a summer night and delight in the

love of your life.

Tickets are $50.  A wine and cheese reception will follow the

performance.  A portion of each ticket will benefit Plimoth Plantation and

South Shore Conservatory.  Purchase tickets by calling 508-746-1622 ext. 8226,
