Lakeville's Sarah Martin to Record Her Next Album Live at Plymouth's Spire Center

The Nov. 19 concert lets the audience become part of the recording, with new and previously recorded original songs and the stories behind them.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Lakeville native and Nashville recording artist Sarah Martin will record her next album live in front of an audience at the Spire Center for Performing Arts in Plymouth on Thursday, November 19, 2026.

The concert, titled "The Making of an Album: A Live Recording of Sarah Martin's Next Album," offers music lovers more than a night out: audience members will actually contribute to the album recording through their presence, energy, applause, and guided crowd participation.

The evening will feature both new and previously recorded original music, along with the stories behind the songs. Martin blends country, folk, and Americana influences, and her original music explores themes of new beginnings, self-love, personal growth, and encouragement.

Martin has been a full-time musician for almost 14 years, including six years performing in Nashville, Tennessee. Her career highlights include opening for #1 hit country acts Thompson Square and LANCO, performing for Randy Travis and Wynonna Judd, writing songs for an Emmy-winning documentary, radio airplay, and a New England Music Awards Country Artist of the Year nomination.

The album recorded that night is planned for release in 2027.
