Last Chance: 13th Annual Doug Flutie Jr. Tournament of Legends

This two-day festival begins Monday in Boston and moves to the Pinehills Golf Club Tuesday where you can tee off with Boston sports legends to benefit the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism.

Join Doug Flutie and New England sports legends and celebrity guests for a round of golf at the 13th Annual Doug Flutie, Jr. Tournament of Legends to benefit the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism. The golf tournament begins with a festive pre-tournament party sponsored by Sports Illustrated on Monday, June 18 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Westin Copley Place. The party will feature exciting raffle and silent auction items, as well as a special performance by the Flutie Brother’s Band. Tickets for the pre-tournament party are $75 each and include appetizers, meal stations and select beverages.

On Tuesday, June 19, the Tournament of Legends, sponsored by Sun Life Financial, tees-off at Plymouth’s Pinehills Golf Club as New England’s beloved athletes and celebrities play 18-holes of golf for a great cause. Individuals can purchase a ticket for $600 dollars or compete as a foursome with friends. Foursomes start at $2,000 and include: golf round for four people with a celebrity team member (for a total of five golfers); gift bags for team members; complementary tickets to the pre-tournament party; company recognition in program book as foursome sponsor; day of tournament lunch, cocktails and buffet dinner.

“My family and I are excited to kick-off summer with the annual Tournament of Legends and invite you to join us for the fun pre-party event and golf tournament,” said Doug Flutie, co-founder of the Flutie Foundation. “Each year, our friends, families and supporters come together to help individuals living with autism and their families, and we hope you’ll join us for another great year.” In the past thirteen years, the Tournament of Legends has raised over $2 million to help the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism provide support to thousands of families where other autism organizations have fallen short: providing direct assistance to individuals with autism and their families with services they need.
