Man Saved After 15-Foot Fall Down Cohasset Well

COHASSET, MA — A man was rescued in Cohasset early Wednesday after falling 15 feet down a well. The 37-year-old man spent the night down the well after tumbling in and was saved only when a relative heard his screams, according to reports. The man was suffered serious head and neck injuries and was medflighted to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

The rescue took several hours, as first responders rigged ropes to lift the man to safety while pumping fresh air so the victim would not lose consciousness.
