The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center has done it again only this time they are stuck with 4 commercial wind turbines at the incomplete New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal. You are paying for it !

Four 2 megawatt commercial wind turbines almost 500 feet tall are stuck at the New Bedford ocean wind turbine port. The turbines are so heavy and long the turbines can not be permitted and insured over the land route from New Bedford to the massive proposed wind turbine farm in Plymouth that borders the Town of Bourne.
Over the past ten years Massachusetts taxpayers have been made into patsies. No commercial wind turbines have been installed in Massachusetts since 2013. You are paying for it !

Ten years ago Massachusetts politicians declared a war on fossil fuels. The war became known as the renewable energy “agenda.” An “agenda” not unlike any other past failed agenda in history. The so called war on fossil fuels required our news media and journalist to omit any and all negative information about commercial wind turbines. Commercial wind turbines were the choice of weapons to reach the renewable energy “agenda” goals of 2000 megawatts of renewable energy by the year 2020.

The news media omissions have included taking citizens health, bribes, property takings, lies and everything else except murder. A murder did occur in New Bedford on Blackmer Street August 2 near the entrance to the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal but the terminal location was as usual left out of the story.Do not count on the news media to tell you the truth they are invested in commercial wind at the corporate level. Their investments are the omissions of negative news over the past ten years. The news media as well as your local and state politicians have misled the public so long to tell the truth today would be an admission of guilt. If the taxpayer knew the truth there would be a revolt.

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center got off to an embarrassing start just a few years ago. At one time the cast of characters that today works at the commercial wind turbine semi quasi agency once worked for the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.

The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative in 2004 bought two commercial Vestas V-82 commercial wind turbines and held them in a warehouse in Texas at $3300.00 a month for years at taxpayer expense just like what is happening today in New Bedford. The turbines were sold in 2010. The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative had to bribe the Town of Falmouth with one million dollars to buy the outdated gear driven wind turbines that couldn’t be sold at auction.

The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative after the one million dollar bribe and sale of the turbine to the Town of Falmouth quickly changed their name to the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center to cover their tracks. The Falmouth Wind 1 turbine is ground zero for poorly placed wind turbines in the United States. The embarrassed Massachusetts Clean Energy Center recently forked over 1.8 million dollars of taxpayer money to hire attorneys to protect the Town of Falmouth over the failure to use the correct permits to build the wind turbine,

Today the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center characters that once worked at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative are responsible for the unreported financial fiasco ongoing at the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal.

The news media through a series of lies and ommisions would have you believe the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal is complete. It’s not it is a boondoggle and finacial fiasco.

Here is what your local and state news media absolutely will not tell you :

The New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal sits incomplete at 113 million dollars with taxpayers making $187,500.00 a month bond payments for the next thirty years.

The terminal has an AM radio station on 4 arces of the property blocking the entrance. The rail link is 2500 feet away. The port lacks any walking/crawler cranes. The biggest engineering problem is the hurricane gates only have a legal opening of 120 feet. Commercial wind turbine “jack-up” barges worldwide don’t fit through the gates. The port was built for small Cape Wind 3.6 megawatt turbines. The ocean wind turbines today are three times that size.
Tens of millions of more taxpayer funds are going to be spent in the next year on this fiasco. They are going to borrow more money and issue more bonds. The New Bedford ocean terminal can’t be leased for more than the current $187,500.00 a month in bond payments.
