MBTA Announces New Schedule for Plymouth/Kingston Line

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority  and Mssachusetts Bay Commuter Railroad Company (MBCR) today announced new schedules for the Plymouth/Kingston and Middleborough/Lakeville commuter rail lines that will go into effect beginning Monday, April 23.

The revised schedules reflect the end of speed restrictions on all Old Colony Lines that were established during the project to replace rail ties. That project, which was completed several months ahead of schedule, has resulted in minor schedule changes, with weekday changes detailed on the attached fact sheet.

New schedules will be available to download and print from www.MBTA.com and the information booth at South Station and Back Bay the afternoon of Wednesday, April 17.
