Plymouth Selectman helps out on Meals on Wheels Mayors' Day

Recently Old Colony Elder Services of Brockton (OCES)  celebrated "Meals on Wheels Mayors' Day."

Traditionally a day when the Mayor of Brockton goes out into the community to deliver a few Meals on Wheels to seniors. This year however, OCES decided to celebrate in other communities and enlisted the help of Plymouth Selectman Mathew Muratore and COA Board member and long time Meals on Wheels volunteer Rick Caproni.

Together they delivering a nutritious lunch to artist and resident Dorothy Halunen, who appeared to enjoy the visit very much. OCES provides more than 600 meals weekly to Plymouth residents, with extra meals for holidays or inclemet weather. These meals are graciously delivered by a large and compassionate group of Council on Aging volunteers.
