Mega Yard Sale on May 17 raises money to fight cancer

If you like big yard sales, you’re going to love the Mega Yard Sale, sponsored by the Relay For Life of Greater Plymouth. This huge outdoor event will be held at the Walgreen’s parking lot in Plymouth on Sunday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Teams participating in this year’s Relay For Life will offer a variety of items for sale –attic treasures of all shapes and sizes, as well as crafts and baked goods, and a whole lot more! Proceeds will benefit this important community fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, held next month at Carver Middle School.

The Mega Yard Sale will be held rain or shine at the parking lot of the Walgreen’s store on Samoset Street in Plymouth. Information about the Relay For Life of Greater Plymouth will be available.

This “walk around the clock” to fight cancer will be held Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 20, at Carver Middle School. Last year, more than 500 walkers on 46 teams and nearly 100 cancer survivors raised more than $150,000 in this important event to stop cancer. The event covers the towns of Plymouth, Carver, Kingston and Plympton.
