Notice Of Public Hearing On Proposed Roadway Easements & Takings On Brook Road In Plymouth

The Town of Plymouth's Department of Public Works will hold a public hearing via Zoom on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 5:00 PM, in accordance with Sections 59-1 through 59-4 of the Town’s General Bylaws, to receive public input and comment regarding the proposed acquisition of temporary and/or permanent easements/takings associated with the Brook Road Bridge replacement project in the lands along Brook Road, in the vicinity of the Brook Road Bridge from approximately 34 Brook Road to 67 Brook Road.

The easements/takings needed represent a variable width public right of way from 40-feet up to 60-feet within the immediate of vicinity of the Brook Road Bridge and shall include portions of lands abutting thereon. The affected properties are believed to be owned by the persons listed herein.
The total takings for this project will equal approximately +/- 28,200 square feet of anticipated permanent easements/takings. Specific property information, including type and square foot areas, are shown on a plan titled “Exhibit Plan Portion of Brook Road Layout Plymouth, Massachusetts”, dated October 1, 2020, which is available for viewing at the Plymouth Town Hall, Engineering Division, 26 Court Street, on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (7:30 A.M to 4:00 P.M.), Tuesday (7:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.) and Friday (7:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.) and will be presented at the public hearing.
