Plymouth Forecast: 'Record' Heat, T-Storms Coming
A wild week of weather is ahead.
The calendar may say September but the weather this week is reminiscent of mid-July.
An unseasonable hot spell will continue Wednesday, which will feature temperatures of 92 degrees or higher. Thursday will have a 90 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
Near-record heat hit the region Tuesday; Boston tied its all-time record of 95 degrees.

Here’s the latest forecast for the rest of the week:
- Wednesday: Sunny. High 92, low 72. 5-15 mph winds.
- Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms all day and into the night. High 83, low 67.
- Friday: Morning showers. High 75, low 60.
Things will cool down for the weekend.
