Plymouth Girls Hockey Season Ends With 3-0 Loss To Pembroke

The Pembroke Titans bested the Plymouth North/South squad in the semifinals of the Patriot Cup.

PLYMOUTH, MA- The Plymouth North/South Girls Hockey team traveled to Gallo Arena in Buzzards Bay to face the Pembroke Titans in the Semifinals of the Patriot Cup. Plymouth is coming off a win against Quincy/North Quincy on Monday afternoon. Pembroke won against Hingham in the first round. Pembroke was the #1 seed and Plymouth is the #3 seed in the Fisher Division.

In the first period, Pembroke got the first goal by Jen Birolini with 6:43 left in the period. In the second period, Plymouth goaltender senior Alexxis Corr blocked 16 shots from Pembroke but did allow a tip-in by Miranda DeMita with assists from Megan Dorsey and Allison Zeoli. In the third period, Plymouth could not score, and Pembroke got an empty netter to seal the shutout, 3-0.

Plymouth Girls Hockey’s season is over due to this loss. Pembroke will face off against Duxbury in the Patriot Cup final on Friday.
