Plymouth Has 26 Millionaires: Report

Plymouth has 26 millionaires, according to a report by the Boston Business Journal.

The BBJ analyzed 2013 tax data and found Plymouth had 26 millionaire filers—down from 35 the year before.

Plymouth’s millionaires earned an average of $1.9 million.

These other communities topped the Journal’s list:

• Newton 1,058 millionaires
• Wellesley 726
• Weston 491
• Brookline 417
• Cambridge 404

There were 12,501 millionaires in the state in 2013, an 8 percent drop from the previous year, the Journal reported.
