Plymouth Man Charged With Murder
A 29-year-old Plymouth man is charged with fatally shooting a Boston man in Dorchester last weekend.
BOSTON, MA — A Plymouth man was arrested Friday and charged with last weekend's murder of a Dorchester man. Police say Derrell Russell, 29, fatally shot Dwayne Thomas, 34, in the early-morning hours last Saturday on Hartford Street in Dorchester.
"To the family and friends of Dwayne Thomas, it is my sincere, humble hope that news of today's arrest brings with it some small measure of comfort and closure," Boston Police Commissioner William Evans said.
