Plymouth Man Survives Lightning Strike
Local man gets struck by lightning but is not injured.

Bruno DiFilippo, of Plymouth, was struck by lightning in front of his home on Wednesday, causing electricity to go in his left shoulder and out his ankles.
“I just saw a big flash around my face,” DiFilippo told WBZ-TV on Thursday. “I looked down and I saw this spark coming out of my ankles.”
Lisa Rengucci, his girlfriend, witnessed the strike.

“All of a sudden I see him kind of jolt, his eyes turn bright red, he lit up like a Christmas tree,” Rengucci said. “He shook just a tad, and he’s talking the whole time, and he says, ‘I think I was just zapped!’”
EMTs brought DiFilippo to the hospital after the lightning strike but no injuries were found.
