Plymouth North Defeats Quincy In First Round of Patriot Cup, 3-1

Kevin Norwood, Carter Mento, and Evan Hallissey combined for three goals to lead the team to victory.

PLYMOUTH, MA- The Plymouth North Eagles Boys Hockey team defeated the Quincy Presidents 3-1 Wednesday at Armstrong Areana in Plymouth in the first round of the Patriot Cup.

Plymouth North was the third seed in the Keenan Division and Quincy was the sixth seed in the Fisher Division, giving Plymouth North home ice. Carter Mento had two goals and Evan Hallissey had one, while Kevin Norwood picked up assists on all three of Plymouth North's goals. Will Martin scored Quincy's lone goal.

Plymouth North advances to the second round in the Patriot Cup and will face the Whitman-Hanson Panthers on Saturday at 1:30 pm at Armstrong Arena.
