Plymouth Massachusetts Gears Up Mega-Mega Wind Turbines

Turbines will move from New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal to Plymouth by July 26, 2015

The Plymouth wind turbines have not even landed in New Bedford until this Monday 7/6/2015 and the news media is already placing a spin on the wind turbines.

The project appears to be called Future Generation Wind owned by ConEdison Solutions at least that’s what the news media reports.

Plymouth permit meetings show cranberry farm owner Keith Mann as the owner but who really knows at this point ?

The news media leave out as usual the number of wind turbine. The total number is four. The news media leaves out the type of turbines which is Gamesa G-97 made in China. The news media leaves out the fact that the turbines are older style gear driven turbines.

The most important fact is the foundation, blades and tower of the turbine could hit near 500 feet !
