Plymouth Republican Town Committee Chooses Romney

The Plymouth Republican Town Committee today announced the results of the Republican presidential primary straw poll conducted at last night’s Plymouth Republican Town Committee Reception at the Plymouth Radisson.  

Mitt Romney topped the ticket with 54% of the vote. Newt Gingrich received the support of 28% of the ballots that were cast. Jon Huntsman was the choice of 10% of the voters, followed by 4% for Ron Paul and 2% each for Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry. Herman Cain and Rick Santorum did not receive any votes.
