Plymouth South Loses To West Boylston In Football, 23-6

West Boylston beats Plymouth South in a last-minute replacement game.

PLYMOUTH, MA- The Plymouth South Panthers football team Traveled to Shrewsbury to play the West Boylston High on Saturday Afternoon. Plymouth South was scheduled to play Quincy at home on Friday but that was canceled during the week due to a positive COVID test in the Quincy program.

In the first half, Plymouth South scored first with freshman Casious Johnson scoring a 42-yard touchdown run, but the extra point was blocked by West Boylston, so the score remained 6-0 Plymouth South. Then West Boylston scored two 1-yard touchdowns to get the score 14-6 at the half.

In the second half, West Boylston scored a touchdown and a safety while the Plymouth South offense struggled to score. The final score was that West Boylston win 23-6.

Plymouth South's next game will be at home against Dennis-Yarmouth on Friday at 5 p.m.
