Plymouth South hockey and basketball teams will square off against Nauset this week.

The Plymouth South hockey team faced off against Sandwich last Friday. The Panthers came into the game having won five in a row; however the Blue Knights managed to outplay Plymouth South, defeating the Panthers 6-3. Plymouth South (10-6-1) will next play Nauset this Wednesday.
Plymouth South boys basketball team dropped its second game in a row, losing to the Nauset Warriors 69-59. The loss dropped Plymouth South’s overall record to 6-13. The Panthers will have another shot against the 6-10 Nauset Warriors tomorrow at home.
The Panthers’ girls basketball defeated Nauset at home Friday, 68-43, improving their record to 5-7. The Panthers will have a chance to win back-to-back against the 2-7 Warriors when they travel to Nauset Tuesday.

Plymouth South wrestler Todd Bazarewsky finished second in his weight class Saturday at the Division I South Sectional tournament. The young Panther’s squad had six wrestlers qualify for this year’s tournament.
