Plymouth South Winter Sports Roundup

The Carver Crusaders boys’ basketball team has had its way with Plymouth South this season. Monday night the Crusaders beat the Panthers 70-57 in Carver. The Plymouth South Panthers (5-10) are 0-2 so far this year against Carver. Wednesday night’s game against the Marshfield Rams was postponed to Thursday Feb. 3. Next week the Plymouth South boys will host the 2-11 Sandwich Knights Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Plymouth South beat Sandwich by two points in their previous meeting Jan. 14.

The Plymouth South girls’ basketball game against Marshfield Wednesday night was postponed and was to be played Thursday. The 10-3 Marshfield Rams beat the 4-6 Plymouth Panthers by seven points in their previous meeting Jan. 7.

The Plymouth South hockey team beat New Bedford this past Monday night 5-0. The Panthers have outscored the Whalers 15-1 this season. Plymouth South’s Wednesday night game against Marshfield was postponed to Friday Feb. 4. The Rams beat the Panthers Jan. 8 by two goals.

The Plymouth South wrestling team will compete this Saturday, Feb. 5, in the Division I South dual meet at Durfee High School.

The Plymouth gymnastics team faced off against Case Thursday Feb. 3.
