Plymouth Teen Arrested in Lobster Statue Heist: ICYMI
A Plymouth teenager was arrested and police said more arrests are possible in the theft of a 6-foot lobster statue: in case you missed it.
PLYMOUTH, MA — A Plymouth teenager was arrested in connection with the recent theft of a 6-foot lobster statue, police announced Friday. The 15-year-old was not identified because he/she is a minor. The suspect was charged with larceny and destruction of property.
The 150-pound ceramic lobster was stolen September 3 at Nelson Beach Park. It's part of the "Lobster Crawl" art installation, featuring lobster statues scattered across town. The theft "saddened" members of the Plymouth Bay Cultural District.
Police said the stolen lobster has not been recovered. They said they're still conducting interviews and could arrest more individuals involved in the theft. Anyone with information is asked to contact Plymouth police at 508-830-1620.

The suspect will be arraigned Monday in Plymouth District Juvenile Court.
