Plymouth Thanksgiving Parade Route, Parking Restrictions

The annual Plymouth Thanksgiving Parade is set for Saturday with road closures, parking restrictions and shuttle service to the route.

PLYMOUTH, MA β€” Plymouth police have announced the course and parking restricts for the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 23. The parade will proceed with no stops south on Court Street, to Main Street, and Main Street Extension, then to Water Street and end on the bottom of Cole's Hill.

The Plymouth Police Department advises that all parking violations are subject to towing and fines.

Due to activities associated with the parade both before and after the event, Water Street will be closed with no parking between Brewster and Union Streets beginning at 7 a.m. and remaining closed until 7 p.m. An exception will be made in the case of need or if conditions dictate otherwise.

There will also be parking restrictions on Court Street, Main Street and Main Street Extension beginning at 7 a.m. until the end of the parade. There will be no parking on both sides of these streets from Water Street to Samoset Street, and no parking on both sides of Court Street between Samoset Street and Lothrop Street. There will also be no parking permitted on Carver Street and Lincoln Street, as well as restrictions on Allerton Street, Vernon Street, Russell Street, South Russell Street and Summer Street.

Limited parking will be allowed within Stephen’s Field on the dirt section between the tennis courts and the ball field. No public parking will be permitted at Nathaniel Morton Elementary School.

There will be a shuttle service from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds and District Court Parking Lots to Lincoln Street.
