Plymouth Whale Watching Boat Struck by Rogue Wave; 8 Teens Hurt

A Plymouth whale watching cruise went awry Wednesday when a rogue wave hit the boat, injuring eight teenagers.

They all suffered minor injuries, according to WHDH.

They were aboard a boat chartered by Plymouth-based Captain John Whale Watching & Fishing Tours. There was about 100 people on board.

Winds were gusting at about 30 mph Wednesday, though officials said conditions that day were safe.
