Plymouth Kidnapping: Child Safe, Father Arrested

Plymouth police said Kyrie Taylor, 3, was kidnapped by his father, Rosba, after he assaulted the boy's mother Wednesday.

PLYMOUTH, MA — A 3-year-old Plymouth boy was found safe Wednesday morning after police said his father kidnapped him following an attack on the boy's mother. The child was identified as Kyrie Taylor. The father is Rosba aka "Randy" Taylor, 25. Rosba assaulted the boy's mother on Algonquin Terrace Wednesday at about 8:50 a.m. then fled toward Lynn, police said.

Lynn police found the pair on State Street at about 11:45 a.m., authorities said. The boy was not hurt.

"(Rosba Taylor) was estranged from the mother and the child and does not have custody or authorization to have the child," Massachusetts State Police said in a statement.

Plymouth police posted information with an Amber Alert headline but state police said one was not issued. Taylor was transported back to Plymouth to face multiple charges.
