Man Taken Into Custody In Connection With Plymouth Homicide

The man —​ Matthew Paluzzi —​ was found in Hanover and is currently detained pending a search warrant.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Authorities have taken a 26-year-old Plymouth man into custody in Hanover in connection with an apparent homicide investigation in Manomet, the Plymouth Police Department said Thursday.

The man — Matthew Paluzzi — is currently detained pending a search warrant and being taken by Massachusetts State Police to Plymouth Police Headquarters, police added.

"This does not appear to be a random act of violence and there is no further probable danger to the public at this time," according to police.

Earlier Thursday morning, while Paluzzi was still at large, police sent out an alert that he was possibly armed and in a Black 2017 Nissan Murano Platinum Edition with an 8MZF30 Massachusetts license plate.

No additional information was immediately available Thursday.
