Prepping Plymouth for Summer: Soft as a Grape Builds New Entrance

As summer nears and temperatures slowly rise, shops throughout downtown Plymouth are using the final weeks to get ready for tourist season.

At Soft As A Grape on Water Street, manager Amanda Roy said the retail store is constructing a third entrance, facing the street prominently to add visibility.

The store spent about 10 years in Plymouth before leaving for two years. It returned a year ago. Soft As A Grape offers clothing, jewelry and other accessories, and also custom printing.

As for the fast approaching summer months?

"We're getting there, we're not quite ready for it," Roy said.
