Arrighi questioned newly appointed Entergy liaison David Tarantino about temporary workers sleeping on the grounds of the Pilgrim Plant at a meeting Wednesday, according to the report.
I directly asked him: do you have people staying there in cots? Cause IΒ understand the concern about that. He said that that was something theyΒ did temporarily in the beginning of what I call the contingency planningΒ that they had. He said that that was absolutely not happening now.

In regard to the complaint made by attorney and member, Ted Bosen, that such overnight stays constitute a zoning violation, Arrighi took up the matter with Paul McAuliffe, the townβs Director of Inspectional Services.
"It would appear that Entergy has used these overnight stays as neededβas a stop gap measure. I think that he feels that doesnβt rise to the level of a zoning violation," Arrighi told the radio station.
If Bosen disagrees with McAuliffe's determination he can appeal that decision to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
