No, Dr. Sarah Russo, the creator of the S.A.C. App™, isn’t being flippant. She’s very serious. So serious, in fact, about the need to “have fun but be careful” that she created a downloadable app to help – and she invites college students and anyone else who’s interested to join her at a “S.A.C. party” Friday, October 3, at the Greatest Bar, on Front Street, in Boston.
The fun gets underway at 8 p.m. Come for some free appetizers, T-shirts (while supplies last), sunglasses and more, and learn about this new app that helps people keep track of their sexual activity, plus store their vital health information, all in a private, password-protected platform on the iPhone or Droid.
Dr. Russo, who by the way has been a pharmacist for the last 11 years after earning her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut, will be joined by Stack n Smash and Dirty Water Media, who is helping host the event. Also, she will be interviewed by S.J. Torres, for an episode in “Boston VIPs,” a new show by Dirty Water Media.
The S.A.C. App™ creator has just returned from the premier of a “Dating Naked” Reality TV episode where she sponsored the launch party for singer/actor Mikey P, who aired in a September 4 episode of the popular new show. A lifelong Massachusetts resident, Dr. Russo created and launched the S.A.C. App™ earlier this year and is looking for college students to help spread the word on campuses, and to learn about the benefits of the new app. The October 3 event gets underway at 8 p.m. and is open to the public.
About The S.A.C. App™
The S.A.C. App™ (Sexual Activity Calendar) is an app developed by Dr. Sarah Russo and Sarahbellum LLC, with several distinct purposes, all healthcare-related. The S.A.C. App™ allows the user to securely store and update personal health and wellness information by using it with an iPhone or Android. There are provisions within the app for users to store their healthcare insurance cards, prescription and medication information, including immunizations and allergies, so that in the event the user reaches the pharmacy and does not have the information on his/her person, the phone will be a means to provide this critical information. The app additionally features a sexual activity calendar that allows users to track sexual contact and personal details. The calendar portion of the app can be used for individuals in the dating market, recently divorced, or on college campuses, to keep track of sexual activities and preferences. If an individual contracts a sexually transmitted disease, or if an individual has an unplanned pregnancy, the interactive calendar can provide vital information and enable the individual to determine who needs to be contacted in such a situation. It is also used by individuals who are trying to conceive to keep track of optimum dates and times. Launched earlier this year, the S.A.C. App™ can be downloaded on iTunes and GooglePlay for an introductory price of .99. Interested individuals can download the app in the ITunes store and Google Play or go to www.thesacapp.com website and use the QR codes to quickly access the S.A.C. App™.
