Sat. Oct. 11th The Blue Moon Coffeehouse in Rockland MA Features Award Winning bluegrass with Twisted Pine

Sat. October 11th at 7:30 pm. The Blue Moon Coffeehouse in Rockland MA features award winning bluegrass with Twisted Pine.

On Saturday, October 11th at 7:30 p.m. The Blue Moon Coffeehouse in Rockland features Twisted Pine, winners of both the FreshGrass Bluegrass Festival band contest and the Thomas Point Bluegrass Festival band contest.   Banjo player Ricky Mier also won top prize at the FreshGrass banjo contest.   The band has played at many prestigious bluegrass festivals, including Greyfox in New York, the “Down Home, Up Here” Bluegrass Festival at Club Passim, and the Joe Val Bluegrass Festival.   Twisted Pineis a Boston Based 5-piece bluegrass band whose members all share a common love for the traditional music of  Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, and the Stanley Brothers.
