Songwriter Shaun England Receives State Citation for Arts Contributions

State Representative Thomas Calter Makes Presentation During Concert

Launching his debut CD in a concert at The New World Tavern, singer/songwriter Shaun England was honored by State Representative Thomas Calter presenting a State of Massachusetts Citation in person, honoring his “dedication and contributions to the arts”.

Often performing for community causes, England was most recently seen at Plymouth performing one of his original songs, which frequently tell stories of liberty and justice in a voice against adversity. Also performing that night to celebrate the CD launch were Ralph Rosen on harmonica; John Disanto on drums, Joe Santerre on bass, Steve Heck on keys and Angel Dombrowski on fiddle.

England’s debut CD with title track Lay Me Down, is a 2-song single backed with Down the Line and features Mike Turk on harmonica. Both original tunes are now available on iTunes, Amazon and other digital distributers. For more information, please visit www.shaunenglandmusic.com or follow Shaun England's Fan Page on Facebook.
