Southcoast Kitchen Designs wins PRISM Silver Award for Kitchen Remodeling

MIDDLEBORO, MA --Southcoast Kitchen Designs (www.southcoastkitchens.com), a premier kitchen design and remodeling company serving eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island since 2005, earned high honors at the recent PRISM Awards Gala held at the Hyatt Regency in Boston.

The company won the coveted PRISM Silver Award in the category “Best Kitchen Remodel Under $125,000.” Hosted by the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston (BRAGB), the 2015 PRISM Awards Gala saluted the accomplishments and achievements of Greater Boston builders, developers, project owners, architects, land planners, marketing/advertising firms, interior designers, remodelers, and other professionals in the home building industry.

Southcoast Kitchen Designs President Matt Arguin of Dighton, MA, accepted the award on behalf of his company.

His company received the PRISM Silver award for a Portsmouth, R.I., family’s kitchen remodeling project, where Southcoast Kitchen Designs worked with the family to reconfigure the layout and create a larger, more open and airy space.

Arguin and his team designed and implemented a number of improvements for this 700-square-foot kitchen space. The specifics of the project included removing a pantry and bi-level island and pushing back a wall. The new design features a repurposed range and oven/microwave combination, a new 4’ x 10’ island, a double-sided fireplace in a stone feature wall, and new walls which integrate cabinetry with a recessed refrigerator. Other amenities include several custom-designed wine racks.
