Singer/songwriter Livingston Taylor’s well-crafted, introspective, original songs have earned him worldwide fame. Taylor picked up his first guitar at the age of thirteen, record his first record at 18, and continued onto a forty-year career that has encompassed performance, songwriting and teaching. Born in Boston and raised in North Carolina, Livingston is the fourth child of a very musical family including Alex, James, Kate and Hugh.
From top-forty hits “I Will Be in Love with You” and “I’ll Come Running,” to “I Can Dream of You” and “Boatman” (both recorded by his brother James), Livingston’s creative output has continued unabated. His musical knowledge inspires a varied repertoire, and he is equally at home with folk, pop, gospel, jazz genres, drifting from upbeat storytelling to touching ballads.
Opening act singer/songwriter Chelsea Berry entertains with incredible edge, power, and finesse. Her presence has been described by listeners as “compelling… she draws the entire house into her world like moths to a flame.” Born and raised in Alaska, she now makes her home on Boston’s North Shore, where she has developed a strong following for her folk and rock rooted music. She frequently performs with artists such as Chris Isaak, Chris Smither, Cheryl Wheeler, Marshall Crenshaw, Vance Gilbert, and others.
