The Spire Center for Performing Arts Presents The Shaun England Band

Soulful, Blues and Roots musician widely recognized for songwriting and his contribution to the arts

The Spire Center for Performing Arts, the entertainment mecca of Plymouth, presents The Shaun England Band in concert, with special guest Charlie Farren on Sunday, March 29, 8 pm, The Spire Center for Performing Arts, 25 ½ Court Street, Plymouth.

With a voice and tone evocative of Leonard Cohen, and poetic verses that relate to all of our experiences, Shaun England creates soulful music with a deep sense of tradition that stems from his roots, playing continuously with many of New England’s finest musicians. Creating music deeply influenced by the blues with poetic lyrics has earned England a nomination for Song of the Year, as well as listeners from around the world. As a songwriter, he has been recognized by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for his songwriting and contribution to the arts. I Am Entertainment Magazine lauds “This is music for the Bob Dylan fans of the world looking for another guy to step in and keep the torch lit.”

The complete band lineup includes Jeff Williams on piano, John Disanto on drums, Jim Antonelli on Bass and Robert Rivera on cello. Special guest Charlie Farren, formally of Farrenheit and The Joe Perry Project performs as well.

Tickets for The Shaun England Band are $20, advance purchase is recommended, seating is limited to capacity.
