Summer clothing on sale for $1 at Christ Church Thrift Shoppe in Plymouth

All summer clothing will be offered for $1 per item during the Last Chance Summer Sale Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 11-13, at Christ Church Thrift Shoppe in Plymouth.

The Thrift Shoppe carries an eclectic mix of gently used clothing for women, men and children, household goods, small furniture, accessories, antiques, jewelry and other bargains that thrift-shoppers love to discover. Proceeds help support the ministries of Christ Church and the needs of the greater Plymouth community.

Christ Church Thrift Shoppe is open Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is located at 6 Lothrop St., in the circa-1841 Hall House, across the driveway from Christ Church at 149 Court St.

Donations are always welcome when Christ Church Thrift Shoppe is open. A new free pickup service for donations is now available. For details, call 508-746-4990.

Christ Church is an Episcopal church in the Diocese of Massachusetts. Founded in 1844, Christ Church Parish is open to all people for prayer, worship and celebration of the Christian faith through the promotion of justice, peace, healing and love.

Located at 149 Court St. in Plymouth, Christ Church offers an informal service with contemporary music on Saturdays at 5 p.m. On Sundays, Rite I is celebrated at 8 a.m. and Rite II with music is held at 10 a.m. Church school classes begin at 9:30 a.m. Family Sunday is the first Sunday of each month September through May. Rector is The Reverend David Fredrickson and Deacon is The Reverend Helen Trainor.
