Talking Information Center to Air Halloween Radio Drama Doubleheader on October 26

TIC broadcasts to thousands of visually impaired and otherwise print impaired listeners throughout the state.

Broadcasting to thousands of visually impaired and otherwise print impaired listeners throughout the state, the Talking Information Center's (TIC) Radio and Podcast Players live theater initiative continues in October with two half-hour, spooky performances.

The award-winning reading service will broadcast two performances on Thursday, October 26th at 7 p.m. The first play that will air is "Three Skeleton Key", in which a ship filled with rats crashes into a lighthouse and they swarm the light keepers. Radio and Podcast Players Steve Yakutis (as Jean), Jesse Stone (Auguste) and Grant Baxter (Louis) make up the cast for this performance.

"Ghost Hunt" will follow, where the plot revolves around found audio footage of a radio DJ’s overnight stay in a haunted house, yet the DJ is missing. The cast includes Jesse Stone (as Smiley), Steve Yakutis (as Thorpe), Grant Baxter (McDonald) and Jack Garrity (Dr. Reed).

Led by producers Eric Joseph, Executive Director of The Bay Colony Shakespeare Company (BCSC) and John Shea of TIC, each radio play is performed in front of a live studio audience backstage at TIC.
