The keynote speaker at the expo is Dr. Brian Clement, the director of the world renowned Hippocrates Health Institute (HHI), in West Palm Beach, Florida. Clement, NMD, PhD, LN, is an international lecturer and author of numerous books on health, spirituality, natural healing and raw food vegan diet. He draws upon wisdom from the institute’s nearly sixty-year history of empowering people through complementary health care education.

His lecture is titled “Sugar Blues & The Cancer Connection” and will be followed by Q and A, plus a book-signing. Find out which seemingly healthy foods may be increasing your risk for cancer and other degenerative diseases, and what to eat instead to prevent sickness and to prolong life.

The Hippocrates Health Institute has deep New England roots. The institute started in Boston’s Back Bay in 1956. Dr. Clement worked with the founders, Ann Wigmore and Viktoras Kulvinskas. The Hippocrates mission “is to assist people in taking responsibility for their lives and to help them internalize and actualize an existence free from premature aging, disease and needless pain,” as described on their website.

At the Expo, you will have opportunities to try vegan, organic, raw superfoods that are also gluten and dairy free. Come out to meet your local network of health-conscious businesses and be supported in adopting a more holistic lifestyle. The event is organized by Optimum Health Solution which supports the Real Kids Real Food Program, an after school program that teaches kids about healthy foods and how to prepare them.
