What's Open/Closed in Plymouth Fourth of July Weekend
You might want to hurry and make that bank deposit before the weekend.
Saturday is Independence Day, and chance are youβve got plans for the weekend. Make sure your propane tank is filled, youβve got some sparklers and there are enough buns and beer.
Youβll need to know whatβs open, or closed.
Note: banks are closed on July 3, as well, observing the holiday on Friday. Check with your town hall, as many have modified hours, or are closed. Libraries, too, are closed.

July 3 is considered a federal holiday. Massachusetts, however, celebrates the official holiday on the Fourth of July.

- Retail stores: Open at ownerβs discretion.
- Liquor stores: Open.
- Supermarkets: Open.
- Convenience stores: Open.
- Taverns, bars: Open.
- Banks: Closed.
- Libraries: Closed.
- Stock market: Closed.
- Municipal, state, federal offices: Closed.
- Mail: Post offices closed; express delivery only.
