10 Packages Stolen In Quincy, 4 Suspects Charged: PD

Four suspects, including a teenage boy were charged with stealing at least 10 packages from a Quincy neighborhood.

QUINCY, MA — Four people were arrested Friday after police said the suspects stole at least 10 packages from homes near Dixwell Avenue and Dimmock Street.

Katherine Olivares-Soto, 22, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Xavier Soto, 22, of Lynn, Antoni Garcia-Mota, 21, of Boston, and a teenage boy were charged with stealing the packages. Police said the three adults all had outstanding warrants for their arrests.

Around 4:05 p.m., a victim called police and said an unknown man tried stealing packages delivered to her home at Dixwell Avenue. While police spoke with the victim, an off-duty officer called dispatch, and reported he saw people inside a blue Altima near Dixwell Avenue acting suspiciously.

Police followed the car and said they watched the suspects try to elude police by pulling into a driveway on Dimmock Street. The four suspects were in the car with about 10 stolen packages, according to police.

Detective Monteith brought the stolen packages back to the station and is trying to contact their owners.
