2 Arrested On Drug Trafficking Charges In Quincy

Between the two men, Quincy police said they seized 55 grams of fentanyl, 23 grams of cocaine, and almost $16,000 cash.

QUINCY, MA — Two men were arrested following a 3-month investigation into a drug trafficking organization in Greater Boston. Leurys Amaruris Feliz, of Quincy, and Nelson Lacourtlinares, of Hyde Park, were charged with trafficking fentanyl and conspiracy to violate drug laws, while Lacourtlinares was also charged with trafficking cocaine, identity fraud and use of a false/stolen RMV document.

Around 9:54 a.m., Tuesday, police arrested Lacourtlinares during a motor vehicle stop on West Squantum Street. He was charged on an outstanding warrant. Police then searched Lacourtlinares's home and seized 17 grams of fentanyl, 23 grams of cocaine, and more than $8,800 in cash, police said.

Within minutes of Lacourtlinares's arrest, police executed a search warrant at Felize's home and said they seized 22 grams of fentanyl and just under $7,000 cash.

Both men were arraigned in Quncy District Court Wednesday. Feliz is being held on $100,00 bail, while Lacourtlinares is being held without bail
